The Opera is Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Forza del Destino,” a new production from the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Maurizio Arena and directed by John Copley, with a world-renowned cast featuring Stefka Evstatieva, Allan Monk, Judith Forst and Ernesto Veronelli. Combining behind-the-scenes footage, beginning with the initial chorus rehearsals, with the set, timing & scheduling, costumes, music, staging rehearsals and on to the final spectacular production, this documentary film tells the complete story, from humble beginnings to the magnificent performance.

                                   

Produced & directed by Anthony Azzopardi, this interesting and thought provoking film reaches out to those who looking to develop an understanding of the Opera, as well as aficionados of the arts and film buffs.
