Latin Nights brings to you the pulsating spectrum of Latin American Music. Experience Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Brazilian Jazz, Samba, Tango, Canto Nuevo and indigenous folk music from the Andean mountains on this stylishly filmed musical documentary. Peer into the nightclubs, coffee houses and performance halls where the rhythms and the cool, seductive melodies of the music reverberate.
Through a series of eleven full-length concert performances, we celebrate the rich musical tradition of Latin America, and pay tribute to accomplished Latin musicians, who through their music, maintain their cultural identity in a new country. Witness the creative process and musical results as we follow these musicians into their homes for a behind-the-scenes look at the commitment, struggles and passion of their lives. Latin Nights showcases the hopes, the politics and the promise of a new life while maintaining the musical tradition, heritage and values of these dedicated musicians and their native lands thousands
