The Children’s Cultural Collection is a series of 6 films on DVDs made especially to introduce children to the world of Ballet & Opera. Applauded by advocacy groups such as the Dove Foundation & the Coalition For Quality Children’s Videos, this critically acclaimed children’s series includes Ballet interpretations of Cinderella (music from Sergei Prokofiev), Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, and the original fairytale Daisy & Her Garden. Opera films include Hansel & Gretel and Mozart’s The Magic Flute Story. Combining stirring classical music, the emotive force of opera, beautiful dancing from renowned Ballerinas, and classic stories, these DVD are the perfect introduction to the performing arts for kids.

The Series includes performances from the Prague Chamber Ballet Company, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Ballet of Oregon, the Berlin Comic Opera Ballet Company, Ballerina Hannelore Bey, Dance Star Roland Gawlick, the Gewandhaus Orchestra conducted by Gert Bahner, and many other noted performance artists.
