Wonder Boy of the world dance scene Patrick Dupond, Claude De Vulpian, and Noëlla Pontois, the epitome of a French ballerina, highlight this special program that features music by renowned composers such as Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich & Meyerbeer. Stemming from a tradition of over 300 years (created as the Academie Royale de La Danse in 1661), The Paris Opera Ballet inhabits the largest theatre building in the world, L’Opera de Paris. The Company now has over 160 dancers (second only to the Bolshoi) and supports a school that trains the outstanding young talents of the Company.
